Here’s the deal. I posted on my FB status, “Last night I dreamt I went to Manderly again.” I don’t think anyone got it. I know; it is obscure.

To further the idea that nobody really “gets” me, here is a list of new words. New to me, that is. This is what we do for fun at the library.

inimical – I thought I knew this one but I didn’t.

And with that, I wish you a good night.

A little poem for all you lovers out there

Good news, I guess.

Work has been fairly interesting lately. Two of the high school pages have quit in the last month, one of my favorite people, the inter-library loan lady found out she has pancreatic cancer and we haven’t seen her since. I miss her so much. And then yesterday the full-time equivalent of me got canned. My boss offered me the job on the spot.

Full-time will mean benefits like health insurance and leave. But I have to work longer hours. Like until 6 or 7 three nights a week. They said they could move things around on Fridays so I can take the kids to see their dad.

Like my step-dad says, “If you like the job then do it. If you don’t then it isn’t worth it.” Well, I love it, and I am sure he is right.

I am gonna really miss my Wednesdays off.
